The student council (FSR) is the elected substitute for the student body. The members of the FSR are elected at the Student Council General Assembly (VV) for one year at a time.
We take care of student concerns and represent you as students from Physics, Meteorology and Environmental Sciences. We organize evening events for you, communicate with lecturers on your behalf and look after your interests on campus.
You can send us an email to fs-physik [at] uni-mainz [dot] de or visit us in the student council room (see address below) at any time.
We will log in with you as soon as possible.
In the winter semester 2025/26, our FSR meetings will take place every Wednesday at 6:15 pm in seminar room K.
Non-FSR members always have the opportunity to present their concerns there.
Feel free to contact us at any time. You can also present your concerns at our FSR meetings.
If you have serious concerns that you would prefer to deal with anonymously, you are welcome to use our grievance box.
We also have an awareness concept (you can read it here in the wiki): At all of our events, there are always awareness staff present to whom you can turn in confidence if you have problems or concerns of any kind. At larger events, such as the summer party or the Christmas party, the awareness staff can be identified by a rainbow-colored sash.
