You want student council merch? We do too!

That’s why we’re looking for your creative logo – a design that not only looks good on T-shirts, hoodies and the like, but also shines on other merchandise such as mugs, bags and pens.

The three best designs will win cash prizes of up to €50! The winning logo will then be used for our first student council merchandise.

• Accepted formats: PDF, PNG, JPG and SVG
  • SVG is particularly recommended
• Resolution & quality:
  • At least 300 dpi (for raster formats such as PNG/JPG)
  • Vector formats (SVG) are ideal as they remain sharp at any size
• Color note: If you would like to use the color scheme of our official logo, please use the hex code #C11626 (the distinctive JGU red color of our logo). It is perfect as a background for merchandise, for example. However, this is of course only optional!
  But: Your logo should look good on any background, not only on white, but also on dark or colored backgrounds. This makes the final merch even more versatile and cool!

The closing date for entries is 20.04.2026. All members of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz can take part.
