The Physics and Meteorology Student Council comprises all students of these two subjects, i.e. students from the degree programs: Physics Bachelor of Science, Physics Bachelor of Education, Meteorology Bachelor of Science and the corresponding Master’s degree courses. In addition, all students studying physics as a minor subject belong to the student council. This probably mainly affects math and computer science students.
The student council (FSR for short) is the elected representative body of the student body. The members of the FSR are elected for one year at the Fachschaftsvollversammlung (VV). The FSR meets weekly during the lecture period, the results of which you can read in the meeting minutes. The tasks of the FSR are defined in the rules of procedure. In addition, the FSR regularly organizes physics parties.
